STUDENTS WRITE POEMS IN ENGLISH
Με τους μαθητές της Β΄ Λυκείου είχαμε την ευκαιρία να ασχοληθούμε με την ποίηση στην αγγλική γλώσσα. Σκοπός της ενασχόλησης αυτής ήταν αρχικά να διαπιστώσουν οι μαθητές ότι μπορούν να διαβάσουν και να κατανοήσουν ποιήματα σε αυθεντική αγγλική γλώσσα. Προσπαθώντας επίσης να ανακαλύψουν το νόημα πίσω από τις λέξεις, κατάλαβαν ότι η ποίηση δημιουργεί εικόνες και εκφράζει συναισθήματα σε όποια γλώσσα και αν γραφτεί.
Στη συνέχεια, έγιναν οι ίδιοι ποιητές προσπαθώντας να συγγράψουν τα δικά τους ποιήματα σε μορφή «χαϊκού*» και όχι μόνο…. προσπαθώντας είτε να εκφράσουν συναισθήματα είτε να ακουστούν διασκεδαστικοί. Μερικά από αυτά σας παραθέτουμε παρακάτω…. Enjoy!!!

*Tα «χαϊκού» είναι μια ιαπωνική ποιητική φόρμα που αποτελείται από τρεις στίχους των 5,7,5 συλλαβών, παρόλο που κάποιοι ποιητές ακολουθούν πιο ελεύθερη φόρμα. Αποτελούν τη συντομότερη μορφή ποιήματος παγκοσμίως.

Maybe I'm crazy to think of this at such an extent and I never thought it would end up to such an event but love is here again to treat me like I am a little doll, her little puppy.
